DC4 Democracy Monthly Meeting

There is SO MUCH going on right now – much in the form of resistance – and I hope you’re holding up OK. We want to use DC4D’s March meet-up next Wednesday night to commiserate a little, but really to focus on what we can do collectively to fight back.

At the meet-up, which will be virtual, we’ll hear about and discuss:

• The Fair Budget Coalition’s FY 2026 Budget Priorities and how you can help.
• The latest news on DC’s finances and how that will affect the upcoming budget
• The mayor’s new war on renters – called the RENTAL Act – which would speed up evictions and weaken important TOPA protections for tenants, something landlords have been trying to do for decades.
• We’ll also discuss the upcoming Ward 8 special election, and DC4D’s plans for forums and endorsement meetings.
