Faith, Community, and Resistance: Organizing for 2025 and Beyond
Join us in the great work of resisting the rising tide of authoritarianism, fostering durable communities, and helping to build a stronger democracy than we had before! The day will offer multiple opportunities for spiritual grounding, community building, and skills development–all towards the end of claiming the power we DO have.
This event is faith-rooted but not faith exclusive, recognizing that unprecedented challenges require unprecedented collaboration. People from all congregations and community groups are welcome, as are people who are not connected to a group. Whoever you are, we invite you to consider coming as a team of two or more. Bring fellow congregants, activists, friends, and/or neighbors to get grounded, connected, and inspired!
Registration is on a sliding scale from $0 to $50, with $25 being the standard fee. This allows us to provide a light breakfast, full lunch, and snacks. A note to All Souls congregants: if multiple members of your family are registering at different times, the additional people will need to click the gray “Edit Who’s Coming” button. Realm connects families in a single record. For anyone who’s experiencing issues with registration, please check out this step-by-step registration guide (it’s from a previous event, but the steps are still the same) or email reebvotingrights@allsouls.ws.
Youth Participation and Care for Younger Children
High school students are invited to participate in the program on their own. Middle school students are invited to participate in the organizing school with an adult present. Use the same registration link as adults, ie register here.
We plan to offer childcare (at no additional cost) for ages Pre-K to 5th, which might be either in one group or two depending on the registration numbers. Please register here. Unfortunately, we cannot offer care for infants or toddlers who require naps. We simply do not have the facilities to do it safely. Sorry!
