March Membership Meeting with the DC LGBTQ+ Budget Coalition

Join Capital Stonewall Democrats for our March General Membership Meeting featuring Heidi Ellis (she/her) from the DC LGBTQ+ Budget Coalition.
Heidi will provide an overview of the D.C. budget process, share strategies for crafting impactful testimony, and highlight ways to advocate for LGBTQ+ funding priorities before the Mayor’s Office and City Council.
D.C.’s budget directly affects housing, healthcare, and community resources for LGBTQ+ residents. Understanding the process and knowing how to advocate ensures our voices are heard and our needs are met.
The meeting will be held on the fourth floor of MLK Jr. Memorial Library in Conference Room 401-E. Please take the stairs or elevator to 4th floor and follow signs to the conference rooms.
